Proceeds from the 2010 Exclusive 300 Club Melbourne Cup lunch  provided equipment for a new Ear Nose and Throat (ENT) service at Nambour Hospital that reduces the need for families to travel to Brisbane.

Half of visits to the ENT Service involve the treatment of children, who currently have a long waiting time for treatment in Brisbane.

Money raised from the 2010 event made this new service possible for the benefit of Coast families.
